We’re proud to welcome Rotiboy, the legendary bakery brand known for its signature coffee bun, to Malaysia’s most modern highway rest stop.

How Rotiboy Became a Malaysian Icon
The Rotiboy journey began in April 1998 in a small bakery in Bukit Mertajam, Penang. It is born out of its founder’s aspiration to build something that would make a positive difference to him and the people around him.
The name “Rotiboy” is inspired by his bond with his then 1.5 year old nephew. Rotiboy is about all about people and relationships and making a positive difference in this world by serving and contributing to society and community.
Rotiboy’s signature bun, the “one bun that rule them all” as someone put it, is the "Rotiboy" bun as it came to be known, is baked and sold fresh from the oven. A bun that is crispy crunchy on the outside but moist and buttery on the inside giving rise to exceptional consumption experience. The bun turned heads, sparked queues and captured the imagination of many. It is not just bread; it is a sensory experience.
This bun, coupled with the decision to take a bold step to move into Klang Valley in 2001, opening in Wisma Central, Mid Valley Megamall and KLCC saw hundreds, thousands and ten of thousands on bun sold each day and that started the Bun Revolution. To date, we have baked and sold more than 700 Million buns worldwide, and still baking.
Since then, the "bun that stops traffic" had become a phenomenon. Its irresistibly fragrant coffee aroma was enough to draw crowds across shopping malls, airports, and now… Malaysia’s expressways. Today, Rotiboy operates over 250 outlets globally across Malaysia, Indonesia, South Korea, Singapore and China, proudly flying the Malaysian flag abroad.
