EVCC™ Pedas RSA is moving closer to completion, marking another important milestone in Malaysia’s next generation of highway infrastructure.

Strategically located at KM241 along the PLUS North-South Expressway Southbound, EVCC™ Pedas RSA is the inaugural project under EVCC™ - Malaysia’s first private-sector Electric Vehicle Charging Corridor. Positioned along the high-traffic Malaysia-Singapore route, the development is designed to introduce a new and elevated R&R experience for highway users.

More than a conventional rest stop, EVCC™ Pedas RSA is envisioned as a future-ready R&R destination that brings together EV charging, F&B, retail, drive-thru convenience, green building features and improved highway connectivity within one integrated development.

A New Benchmark for R&R in Malaysia

As electric mobility continues to grow, highway infrastructure must also evolve to meet the needs of future travellers.

EVCC™ Pedas RSA is designed to support this transition with future-ready EV charging facilities, including Tesla Superchargers and Gentari high-powered chargers. These facilities will support long-distance EV travel along one of Malaysia’s most important expressway corridors.

Construction Progress as at May 2026

As at May 2026, construction progress at EVCC™ Pedas RSA has reached approximately 86.0% overall completion, reflecting steady progress as the project enters its final delivery phase.

The latest aerial site progress shows the main circular building, roof structure, internal road network, drive-thru components, petrol station facilities and expressway access works taking clear shape.

Main Building Taking Shape

The iconic circular main building is now clearly visible, with the roof dome structure, roof interface and glass-related works progressing on site. This central building will form the heart of EVCC™ Pedas RSA, housing key customer amenities, F&B and retail offerings.

Drive-Thru and Internal Roads Progressing

Road works for the drive-thru components and internal circulation are progressing, supporting smoother traffic movement and greater convenience for highway users.

Ingress and Egress Works Underway

Construction of the ingress and egress access from the PLUS Expressway is ongoing. These works are an important part of ensuring safe and seamless entry and exit once the development is operational.

Opening Target: Q4 2026

With construction progress reaching approximately 86.0% as at May 2026, EVCC™ Pedas RSA is moving steadily towards completion.

The project remains on track for its targeted opening by the end of Q4 2026, bringing Malaysia one step closer to a new era of EV-ready, lifestyle-driven and sustainable highway rest areas.
