Levn Capital Enters MOU with Japan’s Largest RSA Operator, Nexco Central, to Transform Malaysia’s Highway Rest-Service Area Experience

Levn Capital Sdn. Bhd. has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Japan’s Central Nippon Expressway Company Limited (NEXCO Central), a leading expressway operator managing 181 Rest and Service Areas (RSAs) across Japan. NEXCO Central generates annual toll revenues of 690 billion yen (approximately USD 6.6 billion), reflecting its extensive role in Japan's highway infrastructure.


The MOU focuses on sharing information and best practices for RSA development & management, particularly related to the Pedas RSA project in Malaysia. NEXCO Central will provide insights on RSA operational strategies and development plans, leveraging their vast experience in Japan’s expressway network.


The agreement emphasizes confidentiality and cooperation between the two parties, with the goal of enhancing Malaysia’s highway infrastructure through global collaboration.


This partnership marks a significant step forward for Levn Capital as they aim to improve RSA management standards in Malaysia with support from one of Japan's most experienced expressway operators.
